Deluxe Fun Dining: Experience New American Cuisine & Unique Atmosphere in Charlotte, NC

I came to Deluxe Fun Dining for the first time to celebrate my birthday, and the experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish. I ordered their signature “It’s My Birthday” drink as part of my dinner, and it was perfect. It came out with dramatic smoke, a crown, and gold accents, and the flavor was balanced and just sweet enough. It was fun, memorable, and a great way to start the night. Before my meal, they brought out bread with butter, and I still don’t know what they put in that butter, but it was incredible. It paired perfectly with the bread and set the tone for what was to come. I then had the Caesar salad, which was very fresh and well seasoned. Everything tasted intentional and thoughtfully prepared. For my main course, I ordered the salmon with shrimp, asparagus, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. Everything was cooked beautifully and the dish came with a sauce on the side and a fresh lemon, which brought all the flavors together perfectly. For dessert, I had the brownie with ice cream, presented beautifully with the “Eat” lettering in the background. It was the perfect ending to an already amazing meal. Throughout the evening, they periodically played birthday songs mixed in with smooth jazz instrumentals, which created such a nice atmosphere. The hospitality here was outstanding. I wish I knew the names of everyone who helped serve me because they truly made this experience special. This was easily the highlight of my entire trip, and I would absolutely come back and bring friends and peers. Deluxe Fun Dining made my birthday feel truly memorable.

Bree is hands-down one of the hardest-working women in the industry. She was holding down the bar and effortlessly covering three additional tables without missing a beat—truly impressive to watch. The entire staff is incredibly attentive; everyone checks in to make sure you’re well taken care of, which makes the experience feel personal and elevated. Now let’s talk food—because wow. The crab dip is an absolute must-have, and the chicken and waffles were so good. Highly recommend. And the drink presentation? Chef’s kiss. This place doesn’t miss an opportunity to surprise you—both the food and cocktails are beautifully presented and thoughtfully done. I came for brunch, and while there wasn’t live entertainment or a DJ, the music selection was on point. A perfect mix of R&B, soca, and Afrobeats that created an amazing vibe. I truly appreciated the diversity—it brought the energy and made the whole experience feel fun, lively, and memorable. Definite brunch spot.

⸻ Deluxe Fun Dining gave my husband of 38 years and me a truly fabulous dinner experience. Aleyne was absolutely perfect— from beginning to end, it felt as if we had our own private server and chef. We started with an El Dorado Apple floating on an illusionary cloud, followed by “Let Us Wedge You In” salads seasoned to perfection. Our starters—baked green mussels and a jumbo crab cake—were delicious and beautifully presented. For the grand finale, we enjoyed the Lobster and Shrimp Pasta along with the Tomahawk Gold. Every dish was theatrical, memorable, and full of flavor. The entire evening was magical. Thank you to everyone at Deluxe Fun Dining for an unforgettable night!

Our waitress Alexis, was amazing! She was super sweet and fun to have and she was dressed so cute for the atmosphere. We just loved her! The atmosphere is a little dated for the money. The popcorn shrimp was okay, the Cornish hen was good! Drinks were pretty good.

I came in solo for Restaurant Week and had a wonderful experience at Deluxe Fun Dining. My server, Curtis, was attentive, welcoming, and made me feel completely comfortable dining alone. The food was absolutely amazing. I started with the pork belly appetizer, which was rich and perfectly prepared. For my entrée, I had the salmon and shrimp with mashed potatoes, broccolini, and asparagus, everything was cooked beautifully and full of flavor. I finished with the tiramisu, which was the perfect ending to the meal, paired with a glass of Riesling. The front-end manager (I think), Rich, also stopped by to check on me and provided excellent service, which really elevated the experience. I loved the creative ways they do things here, it felt thoughtful, intentional, and fun. Highly recommend and definitely a place I’ll be back to.

What truly sets Delux apart, though, is the exceptional leadership of Rich, the manager. Rich goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels valued and taken care of. His professionalism, warmth, and genuine passion for hospitality are evident in every interaction. He’s attentive without hovering, proactive in solving issues, and has an incredible way of making you feel like more than just another customer—you feel like a welcomed guest. Thanks to Rich and his outstanding team, Delux Fun Dining isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience. We’ll absolutely be back and will recommend it to anyone looking for great food, great vibes, and top-tier service.

I can here with my friend and girlfriend for restaurant week and the options they had were very nice. I hope that the staff get some good rest after the week is over but Mr. Curtis our server was kind, attentive and really charismatic. This restaurant is too rich for my blood and thanks to restaurant week I had an opportunity to eat here. I'll definitely come back if I am going to celebrate any big achievement in life. The god was flavorful and the portions was very reasonable. I had a great time and would recommend it
